Hello, my name is Anna, I’m 30 years old and I’m finishing my degree of social education, although I have long been an educator and I am doing so. I started studying a CFGM of physical and sports activities in the natural environment, then I did a CFGS of social integration and I started the university degree of Social Education that I am finishing. I really like to create educational materials, climb, read, any time or space with my family or friends, the smells of different seasons … I am excessively intense in every way! I work as a social educator in two projects. On the one hand, in a work insert project for young people with functional diversity and the other in an open center with children at risk of social exclusion.

Where do you work? How is your job?

On the one hand, in a work insert project for young people with functional diversity and the other in an open center with children at risk of social exclusion. My job is to accompany these people in all aspects of life. My work does not end in the academic aspect, in fact it is not more than 10% of what I do. At the work of tomorrow we provide support in all aspects, the goal is for them to enter the workplace, we understand that for that reason we must be prepared in all areas of life. Whether the workplace or the emotional one.

→ Work with children and young people? Which ages?

In the morning I work with young people aged 16 to 29.

In the afternoon I work with children 6 to 12 years old.

→ What are the problems? How are these children?

At work in the morning, all young people have some functional diversity, be it intellectual or mental. In the afternoon children have no problems in themselves, simply their family structures at this time are not entirely solid to face all aspects of the life of the person.

→ Are children at risk of social exclusion?

If they are. Although it costs me this concept that I also use. Who is not at risk of exclusion now with such a demanding and unfriendly society as ours.

→ What are the shortcomings you find most often in these children?

Generally affective, normative, structural … They are great children and young people, who accept the norms and the positive limits in a precious way and that usually what you most need is an embrace at the end of the day and a positive reinforcement.

→ What can be done to help them learn? How to motivate them?

I believe that the formal learning process must be completed once the children leave school. From that time on, a game process, liberation of tensions, of management but not of learning concepts must begin. Even so, if you want to work, you must always go through the game in a dynamic way and from the point of view.

→ What is your job with them? What and how do you teach them?

My work in the morning is to train them in different aspects of their life, be it at the educational or emotional level or at work. We work in all areas of the person’s life, from the academic and training to the one of interpersonal relationships. Or the family member All from respect and respecting their own rhythms. We follow many different methodologies that we believe are beginning to work at school and that from the social world we have the obligation to start incorporating. After all, many of the methodologies that now have strange names are things we did at the time of relaxation when we are 6 years old. In the open center, unfortunately we spend many hours doing homework, we only have two hours to work with children and this makes it hard for us to work on aspects that we consider essential as routines, social skills, habits …

→ How do you coordinate with the school?

I have no coordination with the school.

→ And with the family?

With families we coordinate on a quarterly basis with an enterview as long as there is no relevant aspect to deal with.


→ I think you are not in favor of inclusive school? Because?

I find it hard to believe in the inclusive school. To create an inclusive school, there is a need to change the system, structures, centers, spaces, professionals, training … absolutely everything. I work with young people, that most of them have done all their learning in ordinary school, when they arrive at the center, it is the first time they really feel they have found their space, xq for the first time feel they are equals, that There are no values ​​judgments that do not leave the classroom to go to any other space thought for them. But all space is of them. So, for now and with the conditions we have. NO, I do not believe in the inclusive school.

→ In the classroom space, how to explain to other children the differences?

In our cases there is no denial, in general they are absolutely accepted, in fact I think that the current model that we have very beneficial inclusion in the rest of the classroom, xq really learn to live together with the difference, xq yes that we are different, we all are. I think we must begin to see the difference as an enriching fact.


→ What influence does your work have on your personal life?

All I want to say that I live for myself, but also for my work, the majority of things that I think of my personal day to day life are applied in one way or another to my work.

→ Do you know how to disconnect? How do you do it?

It is an important purpose. Not at all It costs me a lot. But I need it!

→ What was your first contact in the networks? When was it (time)?

As a personal user a long time ago. I have always liked it. I enjoy them, at social and educational level, because I opened my account soon it will be two years, although I had previously had another block and had made some attempts without success, because I am absolutely not constant.

→ How did you set up to upload your resources to Instagram?

He needed to share everything he did with the rest of the people. I found that the majority of young people arriving were absolutely outcasts of the education system only by the learning model they had. Almost all of us had all the necessary skills to acquire the majority of concepts that they required, but they needed more time and that learning was with absolutely different methodologies. Well, just like me when I was studying. I felt very identified. I started to adapt all the material and I found it very cruel that it was not shared and you can not enjoy it by anyone who needs it. For me it was a way of channeling all the energy I had inside.

→ Where do you get ideas for resources?

I usually do not look for anything or seek anything online, except what I see from my colleagues for Instagram. I let the mind flow, and I think about things logically and through the game could work better than they are doing. As we would have done at my leisure is something that helps me very much xq in the end are the basis for me.

→ How do you select your stories?

If you follow me you know that I have little filters, I am very natural and the truth is that most things I want to say, I tell them and point. Without losing the language, without previous organization, I simply do it. So the only thing I think about my stories is that I do not spend too much xq I have no limits and I love chatting!
